We will come together to co-create a self-compassion sanctuary among the juniper trees for this opportunity to nourish the soul through embodiment, informative workshops, personal reflection, group connection and time to just be among the healing potential of nature.
We will explore yoga philosophy as a way to create a radical foundation of self-love. Yoga goes much deeper than a physical practice - it provides us with Yamas and Niyamas, which can be seen as the ethical foundation of yoga. The Yamas provide us with guidance and wisdom on caring for ourselves and others without limiting us, rather they invite us to live more openly and harmoniously.
We will explore self-care through a trauma-informed lens drawing upon self-regulation tools, research on stress and nervous system awareness. Building on this knowledge, we will create a foundation where you will begin to understand how your unique body and inner system responds to stress. Embodiment practices such as breath work, movement practices, meditation, restorative rest, expressive art will be shared to cultivate a deeper connection between body, mind and heart.
This healing-centered weekend will also prioritize spaciousness in the sun, stargazing, group activities and falling asleep under the clear night sky at 5,000 feet. We will soak up comfortable glamping accommodations and yummy catering throughout the weekend together.
